“Let’s get this shoe banned.”

That’s what was written on the whiteboard at Reebok as they were designing their newest training shoe, the Nano Pro.

  • “It would be awesome if it was thrown out of the CrossFit Games because it was helping too much,” said Tal Short, Product Director at Reebok.

The process of building the Nano Pro took three years, longer than any other Nano, because the Reebok team was determined to “refine it and make it amazing,” Short said.

The result: “It’s like a high-performing Ferrari that you can drive every day,” Short said.

  • As of October 7, the Nano Pro is now available in the United States, although it was released globally earlier this year.

Sleep & Snacks: How Bedtime Nutrition Impacts Recovery

When we think about recovery, we usually think of foam rolling, ice baths, or post-workout protein shakes. But there's one powerful recovery tool that often gets overlooked: sleep, and more importantly, what you eat before you hit the pillow.

  • Bedtime nutrition might not seem crucial, but the right snack at the right time can greatly improve sleep quality, aid muscle recovery, and help balance hormones.

Let's explore how your evening eating habits could be the missing piece in your recovery plan.

POLL

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Which 2025 Rogue Invitational Legends athlete would you most want to take a CrossFit class from?

Login or Subscribe to participate in polls.

Last week, we asked: 🚨 What is your gym pet peeve? Be honest.

  • Shallow squat depth (no reps) 🙈 (38.94%)

  • Chalk explosions ❄️ (1.4%)

  • Bathroom disasters 🤢 (4.3%)

  • Not cleaning equipment 🧽 (13.4%)

  • Dropping empty barbells 🫨 (17.3%)

  • Talking during whiteboard brief 🗣️ (18.75%)

  • Other (rant in the comments) (5.7%)

This one was a no-brainer; shallow squat depth won in a landslide. Here are a few others you submitted in the comments: “rep shavers/cheaters,” “cleaning up equipment before everyone is finished,” and “gym rules/etiquette not applying equally to everyone.”

Peloton Launches HYROX Training Classes, Pro Series Equipment Line

HYROX continues to build on its impressive momentum with the launch of its HYROX-branded Peloton classes, which were released this week.

  • Although the collaboration was announced earlier this year, the new classes are open now.

Remind me: The race has taken the competitive fitness space by storm. HYROX has become a well-known test of cardiovascular health and strength, accessible to all fitness levels.

Peloton’s head instructor, Robin Arzón, took to Instagram to share the launch of the first “HYROX Training Bootcamp,” a 45-minute class that combines treadmill and bodyweight movements, similar to what one can expect during a race.

  • More workouts will be added to the Peloton x HYROX collection in the coming weeks, Arzón noted
