CROSSFIT GAMES
25.2 CrossFit Open Livestream Concurrent Views Up From 25.1, Down From 2024
The announcement of CrossFit Open workout 25.2 was held at CrossFit Incendia in Peoria, Arizona. Emily Rolfe and Sydney Wells competed in the workout head-to-head in front of a raucous local crowd.
Dave Castro made a brief appearance to hand the mic to Rob Best and Tammi Saunders from The Barbell Saves Project.
Best then revealed that the workout would be a repeat of 22.3.
Remind me: Last year, Colten Mertens traveled to Boise, ID, to battle Justin Medeiros in his home gym, the “Shred Shed,” for 24.2.
WWE wrestler Seth Rollins brought some flair to the announcement, and the livestream set the all-time high for concurrent views with 206,012.
Both maximum concurrent views (how many people were watching at once) and overall livestream views (after 24 hours) for 25.2 decreased from last year. The total views after 24 hours for 25.2 fell below the average views (after 24 hours) for all three announcements from 2024.
The details: The 25.2 announcement recorded a maximum concurrent viewership of 135,078, a 34% drop from 24.2 but up 4.8% from 24.3 and 7.4% from 25.1. After 24 hours, it reached a total view count of 601,421.

You're Half Way Through the Open – Here's How to End on a High Note
The OG CrossFitters will remember when the Open was five weeks long and how daunting that part of the season could feel.
Luckily, it doesn’t feel as hard to manage with only three weeks now.
However, navigating through the several-weeks-long experience can be challenging if you're an Open rookie.
To help you end on a high note, check out the recommendations below:
Stay Present and Focused
When you’re deep into competition, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the bigger picture, and stress over the leaderboard.
Instead, break the event down into smaller, manageable tasks.
Focusing on one week at a time.
You may not even want to look at the leaderboard during the Open. This is because you can prioritize effort and feelings about your attempt over obsessing about your finishing place and getting wrapped up in the comparison trap.
By staying in the present, you can better maintain your momentum over the entire three weeks.

Red Bull Wants to Fly You and a Teammate to Spain for an Epic Competition at Ibiza’s Castle
Applications for a chance for teams of two to fly to Ibiza, Spain, and compete in a Red Bull obstacle course will close in just a few days.
Organizers are looking for a few more U.S. teams to join in – expenses paid!!
The Details
Teams from around the world will take on challenging and (slightly) outrageous obstacles as they run, jump, and slide to the top of Ibiza Castle.
The island’s first mixed-pair obstacle course race is all about fitness and fun, with nine unique and entertaining obstacles in a 1.4km (.8 mile) course. And each course comes from the boundless imagination of a creator, athlete, or gaming professional.
The event is not CrossFit-focused, per se, but it is an opportunity to test overall fitness and adaptability.
Anyone can apply for a chance to take part, and on April 7-9, up to 250 selected teams from over 50 countries will immerse themselves in a four-day Ibiza adventure. The top 10 teams will advance to the Grand Finale on April 9.
