❝

It’s tempting to think ‘more is better,’ but very often it’s the opposite — ‘more’ becomes the enemy of ‘better.’”

Laura HorvĂĄth Introduces Kaduzs Pro: An Inside Look at Her Daily Training

Not many other gym owners hold the same accolades as Laura HorvĂĄth – CrossFit Games Champion, Rogue Invitational Champion, and World Fitness Project Champion – to name a few.

Less than a year ago, HorvĂĄth and her brother, Kristof, opened Kaduzs Strength and Conditioning in her hometown of Budapest, Hungary.

  • Not even 12 months into the endeavor, the gym is flourishing.

As the Kaduzs Strength and Conditioning community has continued to grow over the past months, its offerings have expanded as well.

Gyms can join Kaduzs Affiliate, designed by Kristof and Laura, which is the exact program used daily at their gym and shared in real time. It’s intended for classes of 12–16 people but can be easily adapted for larger groups or different spaces.

There is also Kaduzs Endurance that focuses on HYROX-style training, and the newest addition, Kaduzs Pro – a high-level program written, designed, and owned entirely by Laura herself. What makes it even more unique is that it’s her very own day-to-day programming.

20-Year Gym Owner Says Friday Night Lights a “Powerful Anchor" To Improve Client Retention

Credit: @diablocrossfit / Instagram

Each year during the CrossFit Open, thousands of athletes take part in Friday Night Lights events at their home affiliates.

While running these friendly in-house competitions can be time-consuming and exhausting for the gym owner and coaches (often with little to no financial gain), affiliates around the world continue to host Friday Night Lights. They say it’s worth it.

  • It’s worth it for the lasting impact it has on their communities long-term.

This is the main reason Craig Howard — the 21-year owner of Diablo CrossFit in Pleasant Hill, CA — runs Friday Night Lights for his community each year. It’s also why he recommends that other gym owners do the same.

Willy Georges Goes Sub-60 at Nice, France HYROX

Credit: @iamwillgeorges / Instagram

As more CrossFit athletes have been dipping their toes into the world of HYROX, a collective goal among many of them has emerged: to finish under 60 minutes in the Pro Division. Just last weekend, Willy Georges got it done. Racing in Nice, France, Georges posted a time of 58:53.

  • This was not Georges’s first rodeo… er, we mean HYROX. His first attempt was in Gent, Belgium, in December of 2025, where he finished in 1:01.

A Personal Best

With only two months to prepare for Nice after Gent, he told us he didn’t change his training much at all.

  • “I mostly stayed on the same track, because my first HYROX was kind of a last-minute decision. I wasn’t truly prepared. I mainly wanted to do one before the end of the year to challenge myself and gain some experience,” Georges told Morning Chalk Up.
