Jayson Hopper, the 2025 CrossFit Games Fittest Man on Earth, hit the competition floor last weekend in Aberdeen, Scotland, to battle it out at the 7th annual Rogue Invitational.

He entered the competition tied with Patrick Vellner for the most career event wins, at six. But, as the dust settled on Sunday, the rising star walked away as the winningest male athlete in Rogue history on the back of three 2025 victories, bringing his total all-time to nine.

  • Now a seasoned Rogue veteran, Hopper first competed at the event in 2021, just months removed from his CrossFit Games debut.

In 2021, Hopper earned his first Rogue win on “Event 3: Echo Burner,” becoming the first of many moments that solidified his “King of the Echo Bike” title.

  • Hopper finished in 2:33, three seconds faster than the eventual 2021 Rogue champion, Justin Medeiros, who took second in the event.

Fuel, Flex, and Flourish – Staying Nourished and Energized Through the Holiday Season

Credit: @ctpcam / Instagram

The holidays are often a beautiful mix of joy, connection, and celebration, but they can also be exhausting. Between endless gatherings, travel, and busy schedules, it’s easy for your nutrition and fitness routines to go right off the rails.

  • The good news? You don’t have to choose between enjoying the season and taking care of your health.

With a few mindful tweaks, you can maintain your body’s nourishment, keep your energy steady, and balance your mood, all while enjoying the fun of this season.

Nourish, Don’t Restrict

The holidays are full of delicious food traditions, and food is meant to be enjoyed. Instead of focusing on restriction, consider adding nourishing foods that help you feel your best amid the busyness.

  • Prioritize protein and fiber – A balanced meal that includes lean protein (such as eggs, poultry, tofu, or legumes) and fiber-rich foods (like vegetables, whole grains, and fruit) helps regulate blood sugar levels and keeps you fuller for longer. Studies in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition show that higher-protein meals can reduce cravings and improve satiety. This is helpful for those long holiday days when sugary snacks are everywhere.

Winning in Style – Laura Horvath Takes Third Rogue Title in Soon-To-Be Released Adidas Dropset 4

Credit: Adidas

Last weekend in Aberdeen, Scotland, forty athletes competed in the 7th annual Rogue Invitational. After nine grueling workouts over three days of competition, Adidas athlete Laura Horvath was crowned champion for the third time.

Her victory was hardly a surprise — she had already claimed the Rogue podium twice and just won at the World Fitness Project Tour Stop II in August. From the beginning, Horvath dominated. By the start of the final day, she led by 40 points over second place — a gap she continued to widen, finishing the weekend 85 points ahead of everyone else.

But it wasn’t just Horvath’s performance and grit that caught the eye. It was also her shoes.

  • Releasing in January 2026, the Dropset 4 emphasizes Adidas' ongoing commitment to the fitness community. Not only was Horvath wearing the new shoe, but so were her fellow Adidas athletes James Sprague, Haley Adams, Jonne Koski, and Rogue Invitational rookie Harry Lightfoot, all of whom competed this weekend.
