Forever With Us: The Belgrade Games Honor Lazar Ðukić’s Life and Legacy Through Competition

The 2024 Belgrade Games, held in Belgrade, Serbia, were originally set to take place September 6-8, less than a month after the 2024 CrossFit Games

Shortly after the death of Serbia’s own Lazar Ðukić, though, organizers chose to postpone the event out of respect for the Ðukić family and the greater Serbian community.

  • “Lazar Ðukić left a profound mark on our community and was an essential part of this competition,” the Belgrade Games team posted on Instagram in August.

In the same statement, organizers asked for patience and understanding as the event was rescheduled for November 15-17.

The Lazar Ðukić Memorial Competition

As the competition inched closer, it was announced that the 2024 event would be dedicated to Ðukić “with great respect and sorrow.”

  • “Lazar was a role model for all our competitors and proudly represented our country, Serbia, on the international stage. Thanks to his extraordinary achievements, Serbia has found its place among the great sporting nations,” the Belgrade Games posted on Instagram. “His hard work and dedication inspired us and showed that a small country can achieve great things.”

Novaxidil Triple Action Hair Regrowth Treatment

Novaxidil is a Premium OTC Triple Action hair loss treatment that stimulates hair regrowth, prevents further loss, AND nourishes your scalp with a combination of clinically proven ingredients: 5% Minoxidil, 2% K-Conazole, 1% Nicotinamide, Vitamin K, Biotin, and Collagen Peptides.

Our team of MD/PhD's formulated Novaxidil to maximize results while minimizing side effects.

MINOXIDIL 5%: Minoxidil is the Gold Standard for hair regrowth. It achieves this by shortening the telogen phase, extending the anagen phase, increasing blood flow to the scalp, and increasing dermal papilla cell activity.

K-CONAZOLE™ 2%: Studies have shown that K-Conazole™, a proprietary version of the popular compound, blocks the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone linked to male pattern baldness, as effectively as prescription alternatives like FINA without the side effects. It works by inhibiting the 5-alpha reductase (5AR) enzyme, which converts testosterone into DHT.

NICOTINAMIDE 1%: Nicotinamide, also known as niacinamide, has potent effects on hair regrowth. In studies, it has been shown to increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation to the scalp, as well as prevent premature catagen entry, and increase hair thickness. Nicotinamide works in synergy with Minoxidil, and K-Conazole™ to maximize hair regrowth, and minimize loss like no other product on the market!

Before you give up, and start rocking the "bald look," give Novaxidil a try. We're confident you won't regret it.

How to Make a Healthy and Delicious Dinner Without Breaking the Bank

In the United States, grocery prices have substantially increased over the past two years.

As of late 2023, overall grocery prices have grown approximately 15 percent compared to 2021, and while the trends have flattened, costs have remained high..

Key factors contributing to this rise include:

  1. Inflation – General inflation rates have affected consumer goods, including groceries.

  2. Supply Chain Issues – Disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, labor shortages, and transportation challenges have led to higher costs.

  3. Increased Production Costs – Rising prices for fuel, fertilizers, and feed have impacted the cost of food production.

Specific categories have experienced notable increases:

  • Meat and poultry – Prices have surged significantly, particularly for beef and pork.

  • Dairy – Milk, cheese, and eggs have also seen higher prices.

  • Fresh produce – Fruits and vegetables have fluctuated, but many have risen in price.

These trends can vary by region and type of grocery store, but overall, consumers have felt the pinch at the checkout line.

Since we are all dreading the grocery bill and our wallets have noticed the difference, we wanted to share dinner ideas that don’t make the bank!

Our go-to recommendation is to create different dinner bowls!

CrossFit Meets HYROX, Part 2 — John Singleton and the Progrm on How to Successfully Integrate HYROX Training at Your CrossFit Gym

Editor’s Note: This article is the second in a three-part series on the topic of integrating HYROX and CrossFit training. See part one here.

There is a growing demand for HYROX classes within the CrossFit community, but launching successful classes requires more than enthusiasm — it requires a well-thought-out strategy.

  • Following the recent news that John Singleton, founder of The Progrm and a leading coach in the CrossFit space, has become an official digital fitness partner with HYROX, Morning Chalk Up spoke to him about what it takes to set yourself up for success.

The details: This is the second in a three-part series on the topic of HYROX and CrossFit. The first article focused on how gyms can get started; this one examines what to do next in the integration process.

  • “HYROX offers something completely new, but without a clear plan, it’s easy for gyms to struggle with the integration,” Singleton said. “Our program aims to help bridge that gap by providing efficient class programming while also giving gym owners all the tools they need for a successful schedule integration.”
