Another workout has just been released as the 2025 CrossFit Games inch closer – and this one will wreak some havoc on the athletes’ midlines.

Remind me: A few days ago, we learned that double-under crossovers are officially returning in “Event 2.” While “Event 3” remains a mystery, we now know the details of “Event 4,” presented by Pasture Provisions.

It will be the first workout on Saturday morning and will consist of a triplet of running, axle-bar deadlifts, and handstand walking.

Five rounds for time:

  • 300-meter run

  • 12 axle-bar deadlifts

  • 100-foot handstand walk

The women’s deadlift weight will be 220 pounds (99 kg), while the men's prescribed weight is 350 pounds (158 kg). Currently, a time cap has not been revealed.

How to Grow Your Gym Revenue Without Adding a Single Member

Andrea from CrossFit AM Rock faces a challenge that is becoming increasingly common among affiliate owners: she needs to boost her gym's revenue by 50 percent to reach her financial goals.

Like most gym owners, her first instinct was to focus on growing membership. More members mean more revenue, right? However, when you calculate the actual costs required to achieve 50 percent revenue growth solely through membership, the numbers become overwhelming.

  • Here's what I showed Andrea: instead of trying to move one large lever, you can reach the same growth by adjusting five smaller ones.

Most affiliate owners get stuck thinking revenue growth equals member growth. But there's a more innovative way.

Forging Elite Finance – Ben Beck’s Plan to Help Athletes and Gym Owners Build Wealth

Credit: Beck Bode

When Ben Beck retired from professional baseball, his next steps in life weren’t clear.

He had studied criminal justice at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and had considered a career in law enforcement. However, the long-time CrossFit enthusiast soon found himself interested in the financial industry.

This led him to become a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch before eventually co-founding his company Beck Bode in 2013 with fellow advisor Jim Bode. Their shared mission became: to help people grow wealth with purpose.

  • Twelve years later, Beck Bode has become a successful firm with 12 advisors serving over 700 clients.

Most recently, he launched Forging Elite Finance, a social media educational page powered by Beck Bode, designed to help affiliate owners and CrossFit athletes develop financial resilience and take control of their financial future.
