In the coming weeks, Danielle Brandon will no longer be working with Coach El Senouvor of Brute Strength.

  • Coaches Adam Neiffer and Jesse Bifano will step in to help Brandon prepare for the 2025 CrossFit Games.

In 2021 and 2022, Neiffer and Bifano coached Justin Medeiros to two CrossFit Games titles, and over the past week, Senouvor and Matt Torres (Brute Strength’s CEO and owner) have assisted them with the transition.

  • “Danielle and Coach El have worked really hard to prepare for a successful CrossFit Games this season,” Neiffer and Bifano told the Morning Chalk Up

Neiffer went on to explain that, unfortunately, a month out from competition, Brandon needed a change in leadership.

  • “Because Jesse and I work together with all of our athletes, but only have Justin scheduled to compete in Albany, we have the ability to fulfill a coaching role for another athlete at this year’s CrossFit Games. Both El and Matt Torres have been extremely gracious throughout the transition process over this last week,” Neiffer and Bifano said.

Stop Playing Macro Tetris: What These 6 Nutrition Coaches Do Differently

Credit: @nutrition_rx / Instagram

If I’ve learned one thing after coaching CrossFit for 15 years, it’s that getting people to show up at the gym is the easy part.

  • Getting them to change their diet, however, often felt like an insurmountable challenge.

One thing that seems to make the challenge less daunting, however, is when they find the right nutrition coach.

But how do you go about finding the right coach and the approach that’s going to work for you long-term? After all, nutrition isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. It’s personal, and what works for one person might leave another feeling sluggish, underfed, or overwhelmed.

  • And with so many nutrition coaching companies available today, navigating the space can feel like a workout in itself.

So, we did some of the legwork for you and spoke with six different nutrition coaches in the CrossFit space to find out what each one of them is all about:

  • Justin Romaire with CBG Nutrition

  • Meredith Root and Alex Parker with Tactic Functional Nutrition

  • Jen Broxterman with NutritionRx

  • Tracy Tucker with Training Think Tank

  • EC Synkowski with OptimizeMe Nutrition

  • Mallory Lawson with Nutrition Strategies
